That looks like a diesel powered jumping jack. But it must be gas powered since the guy said the sparkplug wire keeps coming off.
I remember a gasoline powered pogo stick when I was in engineering class back around 1973. We studied how it worked, no spark plug, just a wire that sparked to the piston at the top of stroke.
A guy I worked for 40 years ago called those a Tfote...the feet of a thousand elephants.
