    Kids doing hand-abacus math tricks. Kinda gimmicky, like the math equivalent of spelling bees or Rubik's cube solving. Still interesting.




    Apparently India focuses very strongly on rote learning. This is one explanation I've heard for why Indian kids perform so well in American spelling bees. 3:59 video:
