    Kindle cutting machine

    Hi All
Recently I finished building a kindle cutting machine.
The main frame is made of Bosch extrusion salvaged from two frames rescued from a skip and ♻️.

The motor is single phase 1HP eBay purchase which came with the motor frame and taper lock pulley. The large pulley taper lock pulley, vee-belt and crank bearings are also eBay purchases. There is a foot operated switch from Amazon and the rest of the machine is made from materials lying around the workshop.

The retractable castors are also homemade which I have posted on HMT

This has made chopping kindling so quick and easy, after 20 minutes a bin full ready to use.
    Thank you for viewing

It was difficult to film and feed the wood through the machine.

Type reback wolcowy into YouTube for an interesting rotary type chopper. Length varies depending on thickness but for chopping branches not much beats them.

    Very inventive!

More ergonomic than a hatchet, safer, less bending.

    Hi Philip
Hope you are well. Fed up with cutting with a hatchet the wife burns it like logs.
