I wonder why in the notes it says the tsar Bamba was the second largest ever when if you look it up the stats show it to have been the largest nuclear weapon ever created

Perhaps this is because this charts seems to be measuring bomb power by the size of the mushroom cloud. I’m presuming ground blasts make bigger mushrooms than aerial blasts, and underground blasts make none at all.
