    lathe drive belt tensioner

Made from a piece of c-channel racking material; part of a broken forklift parking brake; a VW scissor jack and a bolt.

The metal plate on the wall is part of a damaged fork truck body. The pulley is meant for bench mounting, but I don't have the room. The lathe is bolted to the bench, which is bolted to the wall, so I opted for a pull tensioner, rather than the usual push type. It would have been easier to use a threaded rod, but acme thread is much cooler.
