LATHE Modification of a tailstock - quick drilling Video

Hi, I am Adam for years building DIY machines.
I was invited to put my work on this forum

Modification of a tailstock - quick drilling
    Using a DIY chisel frame
I made simple modifications thanks to which I can quickly change the usual method of cranking the crank to very fast and convenient levers
    Benefits:
    Easy to do
It's easy to drill deep holes - breaking the chip, pouring the spoil
Perfect for small rings - shortening the arm, we feel how much strength we apply to the tool
you can thread - the tap itself pulls / pushes the pinole
    the extension range has increased

NICE JOB! The world's seen many lathes, only a few have lever-operated tailstocks; at serious additional expense! Peck drilling allows the available RPM to do it's work on drill bits/ reamers/ counterbores etc at decent feed rate. A screw driven quill just can't.
Not to mention limitation of human wrists.
    Sincerely,
