Though I dont have a way of mounting it as shown, I think it could easily be altered. Thanks for the great idea !
Great idea, a drawer slide!
Fixes all shortcomings [too many] of run-of-the-mill versions.
NEVER seen or used before, any chip guard I thought worthwhile.

That is a novel idea to use a drawer slide to hold a clear guard shield. Being adjustable makes it always available and easy to slide out of the way.

The working position of the rail is "fully open", it just works like this! The mechanism is so simple that it is ridiculous! Do not remove the locking rubber from the rail, this is how it stays closed and locked!
