Hi all,
I'm a chap that loves making things, usually electronic things, but not always. Most things that I make involves
some sort of mechanical work like making cases for my electronic gadgets. This is the bit I find difficult. I'm left-handed and I find it difficult to saw, file or even draw a straight line without something to help me out.
So, I bought myself a Dremel Multitool. (Actually, it was a birthday present, but I bought the bit and pieces.) I say "Bits and Pieces" because I haven't a clue what most of them are for. All I have to do now is learn how to use them. As I'm retired now, I have the time to do that. I'm hoping that with the help of you chaps and chapeses, I might achieve my goal.
My Background: My profession is (was), a design electronic/software engineer, also a professional pianist by night. My vocation is a musician/composer. I play piano, guitar and other instruments less well. I write music for symphonic orchestra and smaller instrumental groups. My hobbies are mainy mucking about with electronics, (new technologies to me, i.e. keeping up), and also art. I love doing portraits of well worn faces, landscapes and animals. I live in Spain and my wife and I love walking in the mountains. We do a bit of Geocaching as well.
Now it's my turn to get to know you.
Cheers,
Andy.
