My dad would say, "Size 3 head, size 18 neck". Just looks like a great way to crush the guy that's the dead lift mover. Great teamwork, if you must make a living.

At least the ground crew all stepped back as soon as possible.

Why stack the load so high when the truck will tip over on the first turn...

They got one chance at taking logs illegally, as they are in small enough chunks to be human moved. Otherwise they would be using real logging trucks with the long trees left intact, with the needed hydraulic claw. Also looks like they are taking a second growth as the trunks seem smallish, but if I were hustling trees, with a selected crew, and knowing the risk vs reward for exotic wood black market sales, take what you can haul quick. Others were photographing this. I wonder if my conjectured story is the BS it is. But who would think a smart phone camera could get anyone in trouble.

They overload everything, and all of their equipment is old and worn out when they get them.

Cut the perfect length for making veneer for plywood, or for turning into pulpwood. In many countries both industries would make use of straight trucks instead of semi-trailers.
