    That debarker is ancient and super slow. I wrote some control code for the feed system on a Nicholson A8 debarker. We had to run the outfeed at about 30 km/h to keep up.

    Yes but for it's time it was a great use of the iris system design

    I like this log flipper at this sawmill. Not as a good a flip as the legendary Pancake flipping machine, but still a good flip.

    That worker on the green chain, he who removes the slabs, is much more closer to the bandsaw than it seems. Many a finger has been lost in that job. It's easy to get hung up and pulled backwards. The boss says it only stings for a few minutes.
