    My Dad always talked about a local man (here in Ohio) who loaded logs in the 1930s using this same method, but with work horses. His team of horses were so well trained that he could position and move a log an inch at a time.

    Have used this technique to
    Load a moose shot way back in the bush. Tie rope to tree, pull it up over headache rack, attach moose and slowly back up
