Is that what fuel senders look like now? I'm used to ones with a float and an arm (like in a toilet) that rub a little wiper on a coil of wire.

I'm curious how it works. Is there a magnet in the float and uses some kind of eddy system?

I'm curious too. If that's a stainless tube and it senses magnetically that would be amazing. These things are all over the normal gettin' sites for cheap.
