Luthier clamps - E clamp

Still in the luthier clamps series, the "E" clamp, which is actually a special clamp used to press something on an edge .



Here it is in use, gluing a bone piece on a point of a bluegrass mandolin :

Is the tube hollow or solid Christophe? Looks like a nice piece of clampmanship either way.

About 200mm long?

Trying to sense the scale, not being a bluegrass mandolinist (?) an' all

Hi Doc, thanks for the comment,
yes I'm sorry, I missed to give some dimensional info:
- it's solid square section steel, 10mmx10mm
- dimensions are 90mm x 60 mm
- screws are 6mm diameter.
