    Magnetic base for a camera

An here is my magnetic base for the camera.
Actually, it's not only magnetic, it's weight simply makes a good stable base for standing the camera on whatever flat support.

The fixture on the camera is made with a leftover part of one of these cheap table tripods sold for cameras, with telescopic feet. The feet keep slipping and are no longer usable after a while.
So I removed the feet, and replaced them by this wood turned handle and magnetic base.

Very good, Christophe. I like the incorporation of the magnet into the base.

    Cool build, thanks.
Maybe adding duct tape to the face of the magnet would protect the paint of an automobile and still allow a good grip.
