IF there really are cabinets, they cannot any steel fasteners, staples, etc. If they were installed with that equipment, someone turned the machine on before the equipment was removed from the room. In that case, not the cabinet installers fault.

I have had a few MRI's. The rooms I have been in do not even have cabinets, or counter tops. There is nothing in the room but the machine. No chairs, NOTHING else. Only the machine.

I've worked in construction for 20 years and... I have to disagree. I would tell the guys DO NOT BRING ANYTHING METAL 35 times over the course of 2 days before the job, and on day 1 I would expect to see the entire crew stuck to the MRI machine flailing around like turtles on their backs. Possibly on the second day too because I'm sure at least half of them wouldn't learn the first time.
