    I so wish construction videos, like this one, would start out with a look at the finished product and what it does. Thirty seconds would be more than enough for most things, letting the viewer know exactly what the end product is and does. It also helps me to visualize how the parts being made will work together. That was a nice build, though, and it gave me ideas for a similar project I've been mulling over. Thanks for posting.

    Instead of those gas cylinders a simple compression spring mounted underneath the fulcrum arm the jack is mounted on would have allowed for a deeper throat
    Never try to tell me it can't be done
    When I have to paint I use KBS products

    An alternative to Franks suggestion would be a tension spring from the base of the jack to near the top mount. Seems a waste to have that depth of throat effectively halved. Nice build.
