I was just at the dentist and he was telling me they don't take impressions for bite plates anymore. They 3D scan your mouth, send the scan off, and some company 3D prints a bite plate. I thought that was interesting.

I was just at the dentist and he was telling me they don't take impressions for bite plates anymore. They 3D scan your mouth, send the scan off, and some company 3D prints a bite plate. I thought that was interesting.

Apparently my dentist doesn`t do that. He still uses the procedure that stretches your lips beyond their normal limits.
