Making Low-Cost, High Quality, Stick On Labels

Take a close look at a typical consumer product and you will likely see one or more stick-on labels. Have you ever considered how much of the professional look of this product depends on those labels?

The same is true for my projects. A handwritten label or even stamped letters takes an otherwise professional project and makes it look like a hack job. Labels from a label maker look better but it is still obviously not custom. Furthermore, I am limited to text plus a few special characters. I want one-off, professional looking labels!

Well, today I figured out how to do this.

I just found an even better way to make these labels:

They make the labels with just printed artwork, tape, and a dunk in water. No need for the parchment paper. My hat off to the people at Hometalk for such an elegant solution.

Dynamite creation and subsequent variant, there are so many ways to mark, few within realm of small shop! Which means the home shop has even less options.
