My name is Scott Haddox. I am starting a business called Haddox Guitars. I ordered one ounce of pre cut shell inlay and it cost me $40. I went to the craft store for a jewelers saw when I saw whole shells in one of the aisles. I brought home a half clam shell for $4 and I made an ounce of inlay material from scratch. I am now focusing on reducing production time so I can make my own product long term. I will need an automatic saw, either jig or band saw, and a thickness sander. I went online to find some plans for using a hand drill as a thickness sander and here I am.
