Used to see similar devises at Lowes and HomeDepot. Never bought one, those thin sections look prone to bending.
This yours looks a bit more robust than these.

I've had one of those triangular ones for a while now; it's ~¼" thick; it's held up without bending. Caveat I'm not big and haven't really jumped on it a lot. I just find myself using it less as my back gets older, in favor of my Workmate or my old miter saw, less bending over.
Couldn’t think at first why a sawhorse should be made of steel, until seen you using it. Incidentally, carpenters here are usually trained to place their forefinger inline with the cut!
