No way they were pipes. That's solid bars to tip a truck like that.

the truck bed could be hinged on the frame from both sides with release levers to release either side. Note the wheels as the bed tips. A lot of the medium sized half lorries in the Middle east are set up that way some even have manual or powered hydraulic jack cylinders to cause them to tip so they can be used as side dump trucks for delivering sand or gravel

Frank, hard to argue when you are right. I first watched this early in this morning on my phone. Just watched it on my computer with the 43 inch TV for a monitor. 100% hinged box. Young kid and they knew what was going to happen. The guys on the top of the screen were watching and waiting. Heartless bastards.
