If I were to get hit by a bus and still be able to stand up afterwards I'd want a stiff drink as well

Reminds me of a joke that begins with, "A guy walks into a bar and orders a drink. Bartender serves him the drink and the guy says, 'You won't belive the day I've been having...'"

Ah, well, that goes a long way to explaining a lot of things. Whilst I was not born in Reading, I did go to school in Woodley, maybe some "tough" rubbed off.

Looks like the bus driver just stepped OUT of a bar! Bumper sticker on the back of the bus: "If you don't like my driving, stay off the sidewalk!"

"Mr. Smith suffered two fractures to his shoulder and ribs, as well as some internal bruising."

Wow, his head broke the windshield, but he only suffered fractures and bruising? Damn that's a hard headed guy.
He's probably going to find more issues down the road though. Had to have had some road rash from sliding his arm along the sidewalk.
