I remember getting hauled around in the army during training in something kind of like that.....well more like a cattle trailer. Not nearly as nice as the fine unit shown here.

odd one, if you were at Fort Hood in the early Seventies, I was driving you around. Driving people around was worse than cattle, going around a curve could really setup sever swaying.

At least that is how I hear cattle haulers do it to set up a turn. I bet hauling people like that would be like hanging meat or a tanker.
Come to think if it, it may have been at Ft. Bliss as well ....a very misleading name for a base.
