There's a video on YouTube from a guy who shows interesting small aircraft and discusses them with their owners. Sometimes he gets to fly them, other times not. He had a video on one of these, and the owner demonstrated some of the ways it operates differently than conventional ones. Granted, the guy was an excellent pilot, but the thing behaved as if it had gyros keeping it stable, and it was very quiet. They did a fair job of explaining how the tail operates, but left out the technical detail I'd hoped for.

Used to see those flying around Phoenix all the time, since they were built there. There was a basic problem with them when outside air temperature drops low. Can't remember why.
