MELTING COPPER WITH MY HOMEMADE FOUNDRY

In this video I tried to melt copper with propane. It melts at 1084 deg Celcius. It took me about 45 min to begin to melt and other 20 min to melt about one kilo. It was a little difficult to melt this metal. Usually people use electric forge with temperature control. The forge was strong enough to melt copper and there was not any damage. I ‘ve also used 4 teaspoons of borax in the beginnind of the melting.
