First I built a CNC router engraver to reproduce my artist wife's (and poet) peotry in metal. Then I realised that the cutters were expensive and maybe I could make these as well and the idea of a dedicated cutter grinder was the way to go. Being a DIYer from way back there was no way I would buy a manufactured cutter-grinder without trying to build one or modify another tool to do the job. The B&D valve grinder seemed a logical alternative.
