Oh sure this was a great idea, bunch of fools standing around trying to start a fire from the friction of the back tire. lets just refill the gas tank while it is running then our gasoline on the hot spot from a milk jug. What could possibly go wrong? I don't know maybe remove a few from the gene pool?

I had a friend many years ago who was a traffic cop. Rode a BMW 850 for work, rode a 250 2 Stroke at the track for fun and he got absolutely smoked one day by a guy on one of those Honda 250 Superscooters. He was a combination of pissed and in awe when I saw him after work. Reckons he chased the guy for about 10 miles down the motorway and said he could keep up with him but couldn't gain on him. Lost him at an off ramp when a car pulled over in front of him.
Friend Ian was no slouch when it came to pushing hard either.
