Might be a bit hard to hit a nail straight with the anvils out of alignment.

Probably the reason why it was made into a hammer was because it sucked as a "C" clamp
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products

agree, judging the misalignment of the spindle and anvil it has long since lost its original purpose.....I just couldnt do that to a micrometer

I don't know, even though I have a lot of task-specific, small hammers, I don't have a true precision hammer.

I like to use one of my POS mics for a small C clamp, am I a bad person?

I am thinking an inside mic would be a better precision hammer head.
Not as identifiable as sacrilegious behavior though...

You can never have enough hammers or clamps!

I agree that would result in a better appearing precision hammer, but not as practical as the striking faces would not be flat. Also, it would be limited to indoor (inside) use. use

Hmm, anvils misaligned, nope, it is an adjustable wrench, faces way too small to be of any use as a hammer to the type of person who abuses tools so badly.
