    Molding Bench And Casting Set-Up

Before you can mold patterns you need a bench to mix, hold and fill your mold flasks with molding sand. To that end I built this molding bench it is 2' X 4' and built very heavy with construction grade lumber and 3/4" plywood. It will hold 200 lbs of molding sand and 300 lbs in 5 gallon pails underneath. The roll over rails easily slide out for access to all the sand when mixing.
