    motorcycle water pump impeller

The impeller of my motorcycle had better days...and shipping from france to brasil take too much time. So making one was the obvious choice.

the impeller was made with a hex (used the hex as a indexer) aluminium bar in a milling attachment on my bench lathe. The impeller pattern was transfered from oem to part with ink and tape.

I like it and can reply with accomplishing a similar task in a like size.
Mine is a lathe coolant pump. Also found at least .100 [2.5mm] excess clearance between housing, impeller and cap.
Instead of chucking and facing cap in the 4-jaw, made impeller taller. More volume with little increase in pressure.
    Sincerely,

Very nice fix and this should last longer and be better than the original pump impeller.
