    Wow. Lucky. I met a milk truck at about 04:00 hrs one day while doing an Ivan Major around a corner on my TT500. Went under it in front and out the righthand side just in front of the tractor rear wheels and into a ditch. Happened real fast and I had to ride another 30 odd miles on winding gravel roads with handlebar grips about 8" apart. Ah youth.

    Yes I realise it is about testing not training but i the real world the two need to go hand in hand.
    BTW now the "Ten to Two" way of holding a vehicle steering wheel guarentees an instant fail here. Training? WTF?

    Real training includes hands on practical application as I stated. Also, if you believe that was not a scripted, staged "report" I have some news for you: Cameras are not just conveniently set up at just the right angles by chance. Mounted cameras in the car and various places along the way? It says not a spoof but definitely staged and scripted to "prove" to the reporter's specific point. Your post also proves my original statement "Another good reason for everyone operating any motor vehicle to undergo actual training." In the US driving is a privilege, not a right but if you're old enough and take a test they grant you a license and let you operate potentially a 5000 lb. murder machine.

    1980 Yamaha TT500 with White Brothers WB-2 cam, high flow filter, quick action throttle, Supertrapp exhaust, White Brothers shocks, Yamaha IT 400 front end. 17" rear wheel, lenghened swingarm, Don Vesco endurance tank.
    Was a real fun bike. Used to be a lot of gravel roads and with the long range tank and a front sproket change was great during the petrol restictions. 5 minutes to fit a smaller sproket and away we go.

    1958 Dominator, been modified with 18" Akront rims. Went back to standard with liners inn the barrel. Have original single Amal monoblock plus the optional twin carb setup. Clutch corks at the moment are from wine bottles.

    I thought maybe a 750 or 850 Commando. Each was listed at one time in the Guinness book of world records as the fastest production motorcycle. Somewhere around 135 MPH I think. Not so fast by todays standards but stilll fast.
