Made this grinder stand from 2 tie plates,a piece of 4x4x.25 tube and my trusty H.F.wire welder. At 60 lbs it's surprisingly stable. Bolted all to a piece of thin sheet then bolted that thru the existing spike holes. No drilling into those plates.

Nice Job, I have something similar with a 2-1/2 " Steel pipe stuck in a discarded 50's British Wire wheel with a plate on top with a spare Grinder / Buffer. But you gave me the Idea to add a Vice to It. Thanlks
