Looks to be a palletizer for an order picking system in a modern warehouse. It is the stacking of various sized boxes that makes life miserable, which is, of course, the motive behind standardized packaging. Though I don't particularly know this system, I do know that photo-sizers have made a world of difference. Add in machine learning, and, well, you know...
