This 1969 AMC AMX, built by CamJam on TheAMCForum.com, is an extraordinarily detailed factory original restoration spanning a 56-page thread.

CamJam found this car "in a yard", with minimal rust. The original 390 was rebuilt, and the car was laboriously restored to factory original status, with pains taken over numerous details like the correct texture on the dash cover.

This is not a short thread, but it's rich in details and photos. One member really nailed a truism about build threads when he said: "You can't overkill the pictures, we enjoy the progress".
