Building a car is an art. Builders express themselves any which way they like and the result varies from the stupendous to hideous. Some however, are purists. Of course, concessions are made here and there according to regulations and preferences, but the overall aim is to get that authentic look and feel.

Brian Thompson on 348-409.com reverted to stock a fully restored '62, and I must say that this is one of the cleanest Impala builds I've seen. It features a stock stroke 409, Offenhauser 5492 intakes, Edelbrock 500 carbs, vintage air cleaner, Griffin radiator, stock valve covers, and a 700R4 tranny.
