My first post - the Tollcat

Hi everyone.
I live in New Zealand, on the North Island.
I am a qualified mechanical fitter.
I have my own small private workshop in my garage down stairs. It includes a Logan 820 lathe, two large drill presses and heaps of small tools - hand and electric.
My main hobby is tying decorative knots of varying complexity, usually as a covering over the handle of a knotting tool I have just finished making. Usually a marlinespike or a fid.
I will post the odd pic when I find out how and where.

I'd like to see some pics too. I've taken some sailing classes and I can tie the basic knots, but I haven't seen how professionals do it.
