Hi Ken.... I normally do plans for things I make but this project was just built as I go with what I had laying around the workshop ect all I can say about this lathe is the wood I used was from an old pine dresser and some wood joists I had in the shop and the head stock is from a pillar drill I had as is the motor pullys belt ect ..The tail stock is made from old cut down joists and a old router coller /spindle I had under my bench that didn't work any more it makes a great live centre.. The sliding tool rest and tail stock have rebates under neath and two trips of 4mm thick flat bar screwed to The bottom of them for extra strength so when I tighten the nuts i have no bend or pressure on the wood itself ....I was going to make wooden twist knobs for them but I do prefer the nut and bolt version lathe works very well it all lines up perfect on centres from head to tail stock . I did use my motorcycle chain laser alignment tool to get that spot on lololol I will add more detailed pictures later on in the week ...........PS........Thanks for you kind comments..............
