If I were to put on thick gloves like insulated welders gloves, I probably wouldn't be able to tell if an object were hex shaped or pentagram shaped. I'm sure that bare handed I can still tell the difference between 40 and 220 grit sand paper but between 400 and 3000? I doubt it. I've known almost all my life that I have very little sense of touch compared to most everyone else. I've broken wine glasses just picking them up if I'm not careful when I reach for one

Women are the more sensitive gender. Modern medicine doesn't know why. Women tend to taste, smell, hear, see colors, and feel textures more accurately than men. 75% of garment workers globally are women, interestingly, the consumers as well. Automotive industry appreciates the sensitive capabilities of women and employ them in the upholstery, fabric, colors, paint, lighting, storage and interior styling.
