Sometimes when I hear the so called woke, (whatever that is supposed to mean) idiots, I feel as though I fell asleep one time too many while watching old "B" movies and awakened in an alternate timeline. maybe I am stuck in Murray Leinster's sidewise in time or A dean Koontz novel or maybe we are all stuck in the world of Greg Egan’s Dichronauts.
Which ever it is or whatever has been slowly overtaking reality as we once knew it there definitely seems to be a growing number of persons who do not posses a level of self cognition to even know how to dress themselves anymore they have succumbed to the hive mentality of being nothing more than drones who must be told how when and what to do at every level of their lives. The cosmic or universal pool of knowledge from which every living being draws their individuality plus the core or seeds of intelligence is implanted deep in the subconsciousness of our brains where this core or seeds are expected to grow and flourish thereby allowing the cosmic pool to be ever increasing allowing humans to continually evolve as their knowledge increases. Somehow some when the positive growth in knowledge versus the negative has taken a turn. So now instead of persons being born with the ability to learn they are born without it. Hence the hive mentality.
I could be wrong as I often am but it is my belief that a large contributor to much of this has been brought on by our advancements in technology we now have the means for some form of technology to do almost everything for us. Soon we will be little more than the animated characters in the little movie Wallie where humans are on a ship traveling through space while doing nothing but lounging in there continually moving chairs eating themselves to oblivion
