We're unaware the volume of vacuum you need to pull down.
  • But if it is more or less like size of knife parts, vacuum generates easy with a standard compressor.

  • Adding a reservoir tank will help if compressor is small. Unless you are involved with high production numbers buying a real vacuum pump won't make you very happy. $$$$
  • A shop vac will also produce vacuum if you add a globe valve to let the vacuum breathe, tee'd into box plate. Wide open is lowest potential draw down, fully closed starves the shop vac and will over heat.
  • You can nest parts with small pins, or set part in close fitting pocket.
  • There are right-hand cutters with left-hand helix that won't pull parts up like a drill or an endmill can.
  • There's all kind of vacuum hold down tricks.
