    New

This is my first post. I'm always interested in new tools and love the idea of making tools myself. There is always some project around the house that my wife wants me to do and I am trying to get my retirement project going. That would be to build a hot rod.

So what kind of car did you have in mind? Traditional hot rod?

Jon, I'm planning a T-bucket in order to keep it simple and affordable. Something I can just have fun with, nothing exotic or show quality.

That won't just be fun, it'll be fast too! Are you doing a Spirit or Speedway kit, or have you found a steel body? Have you decided on an engine?

    Hi Frank,

    Welcome!

Lots of car guys here (guilty!); you'll fit right in.

Post some pics of the build once you get started…
