Hi y'all,I'm a DIY guy who loves building what I can.I hate reading instructions,and usually build as I go,( I know that drives some folks nuts ).I have a small band mill,so I need to build many of the tools required to lift and move logs.I dabble in blacksmithing,any piece of steel has potential for a tool.I hope to garner many ideas here that will help ease the stress on this beat up body,perhaps I can toss an idea or two out there for someone else.

Were you thinking along the lines of a small log crane?
Yes,there are many different designs,I'm hoping someone on here has built one.I tend to like manual rather than electric or gas powered,less is better for me.
