New guy from Calif.

Hello.Just making my intros here.I'm Jim,retired US MerchantMariner and commercial fisherman.Live in Central Ca.next to the Sacramento-SanJuaquin River delta.I am currently building guitars and custom wooden furniture and hand crafted/tooled leather products.Often combine these mediums into one off pieces.Other interests are machining/welding and restoration of vintage Harley's.I enjoy this site tremendously and have been making my own tools and jigs for years.Hope to post some photo's after the Holiday's are over.Thanks for the invite to join and hope you all have a great Holiday!

Sounds as though you've got some neat interests. If you haven't already done so, check out Christophe Mineau's builder page - he's also a luthier and you might find one or two useful tools on his site. As a restorer of vintage bikes, you might also enjoy having a look at our other site, BikeBuilds.net.

When you're ready to share some of your own homemade tools, we'd love to see them. Please post them directly in the Homemade Tools subforum. We'll add each one to the database, as well as to your builder page on the site.

Non-tool items should be shared in the Not a Tool, but Homemade subforum.
