I am diy welder sometimes frends and family ask me to do some work for them. I would like to have a ring roller for, say 30-40x8mm manual roller, but they are very expensive to bye. I have seen photos and feel compident enough to construct my own one. I would some details on shaft size and bearings etc.

I have just purchased a dial indicator for my wood shop. I am looking for different jigs I can build to mount the dial indicator. One of my problems is some of my tool bases are made out of aluminum so the magnetic dial indicator mounts will not work.
