Hi all,

I joined the Homemade Tools forum as I am a retired engineer and have made lots of improvised tools/jigs over the years and wished to see other's designs and ideas.

On retirement I treated myself to a 25ft x 10ft fully insulated and heated log lap workshop which, after a small area in my garage, seemed huge but is now nowhere near large enough! I have and maintain a 20ft. oil fired steam launch.

At the moment I am looking for an "up close" slitting saw holder which I saw in one of the forum email newsletters when a reminder to introduce myself popped up. Hence this post.

Hi Graham - welcome to HomemadeTools.net

I'm envious of that garage! It will probably never be large enough though. Post some pics of that steam launch when you get a chance, we have lots of steam hobbyists here.
