I am mew to machining and making things in metal but have extensive experience in woodworking but want to gain some skills in machine shop work to include working on the manual milling machine, metal lathe and other shop equipment. I am looking to expand my knowledge in general fabrication to include working with wood, metals, plastics, glass etc. Sort of a Jack of All Trades at the DIY level.
