I'm retired. Just moved to new house (for us) and in process of setting up the garage. (if I can ever get through the Honey Do list)

Been getting email list of things people have made/done and find it really interesting from this site so decided to
join.

Have a desktop CNC machine (Romaxx) that I play with.

Would like to do something in metal and this
site has give me some great ideas. Bought a mig welder from a guy on creags list when I live in Arizona.
Only time I used it was when I picked it up to make sure it works. First thing I will try to make is a brake
for bending sheet metal. Also interested in a small press to remove and insert bearings in V-wheels.

Was in the US Army from 67-74. Then worked for DOD for a few years and then civilian company in the voice/date
field.

A bearing press and a sheetmetal brake both sound like great projects. Keep us posted
