Newbie!

Thanks for allowing me to join! I'm a recently retired engineer from the medical CT scanner, x-ray, angio / cardiac etc environment. I'm slowly kitting out my garage with various used power tools that I'm reconditioning for use on hobbies and general repairs. Recently acquired a Emco Unimat lathe SL 1000, which seems to be a challenge tolerance wise. Always interested in mechanics and electrical and electronics and do amatuer microcontroller programming on some basic projects for the club train set. Looking forward to seeing what everybody gets up to out there! Phil.
