Newbie
Hi all, I am 66 years of age living on a farm in the north eastern part of Mpumalanga, South Africa. This is a game farm and my son, a professional hunter, is managing the farm and also running his own hunting safari business. The farm is about 25km from the nearest Kruger National gate and 60km from the Mozambique border. We have some hardwood trees like leadwood, kiaat, jackalberry(african ebony) and knobthorn which is ideal for furniture. I have decided to try my hand at making live edge tables to generate some income, got myself a chain saw, built a mill attachment, cut some lumber and made my first table. Will soon start a thread on how to build a band saw, not to tell you how to but rather asking how to.

Hi koosdup - welcome to HomemadeTools.net :welcome:
Sounds like you've been busy! How did the mill attachment build go?

Thanks Jon, the mill attachment was quick and easy but a bandsaw built will take some planning.
