    Talking Newbie here...be gentle

Hi guys and gals...newbie here. Broke down and bought a Hobart 140 Handler over the weekend. I used to have a Miller, but hardly ever used it, so down the road it went. I forget what model it was, but I got an expensive Miller for dirt cheap...220 volt. So I decided to go the 115 volt route.

I have a street rod we built and I had gown tired of having to rely on friends to either bring their welder by or my having to go there.

I took a general welding class about 6 years ago and decided that MIG was the way to go, so I'm getting back into the swing of things. I am NOT a certified welder, just a hobbyist that when something breaks on the tractor or some other yard implement, I can weld it back together myself.

I saw a welding cart on here that I am really interested in. the one at Northern Tool is flimsy and too rich for my taste, so I will be dropping that member a note.
